Help! We’ve experienced an emergency and we’re off the air! How do I get an emergency kit?

How fast can we get a kit?
Requests received by 1PM EST on a weekday will be handled immediately and the kit(s) will be shipped the same day. If the request is received later than 1PM, it will be shipped the next working day.
Do you ship on weekends or holidays?
No, we are not in a position to do so.
What if I need more than one type of kit (e.g. Transmitter and Studio)?
We are happy to loan you as many types of kits as you like, but only one of each type.
How long can I keep the equipment kit(s)?
The initial contract period will be for a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of 90 days. You may return the equipment before the 90 days are up with no penalty. You may also request an extension, should you need it, which we will do our best to accommodate.
Generally, you are expected to return the equipment within 10 days of the end of your contract period.
You are expected to return the items in good working order and with the laminated card that details all the components included in the kit.
What if I know we will be doing a “TV repack” in the future? Can I reserve a kit(s)?
You can contact the Help Desk at 800.971.7677 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org and let them know your request is for a future date. We will mark our calendar with your reservation and we will do our best to ship a kit(s) in advance of your event.
Please be aware that if another station has failed to return in a timely manner a kit that you have reserved, you may be affected. We will do our best to manage returns of kits from stations and encourage stations to return the kits on time, but there may be occasions when a kit is not returned according to schedule.
How do you prioritize requests for kits?
We prioritize based on date of request – essentially, first in, first out. If we know we have a reservation date approaching, we will call the station with the reservation to confirm the need, should an emergency request be received several weeks before the reservation date. We will do our best to meet the needs of all stations.
